Equestrian Artwork

Alex Jakob-Whitworth has studied Art to Master’s Degree level. She has been involved with horses all her life: painting, owning, training and competing and has produced commissions since 1983. Her work as an Equine Massage therapist has informed her study of equine anatomy - so not only does she aim to be accurate in her representation, but also to depict the spirit of the horse.

She has exhibited her work at the Society of Equestrian Artists in London, and has work in private collections both here and abroad. She works in a variety of media although she specialises in oils, watercolour, drawings and etchings. Currently, Alex is exploring using Mixed Media in her work.

Prices start from £60 for an A4 drawing and £120 for an A4 oil. Works are supplied mounted, but not framed as most people prefer to choose their own.
